A New You is a premier aesthetics clinic based in Brighton that offers a range of high-end skin, non-surgical, and surgical treatments. The clinic is nurse-led, providing exceptional aftercare support and ensuring clients receive personalised and professional care. Before joining Creative Pod, the clinic faced challenges in its marketing approach, needing more consistency and a strategic direction.

A New You joined The Creative Group in July 2019 and initially came aboard for our Marketing and Design services. Creative Pod has increased awareness of A New You amongst men, women and the LGBTQ+ community across their social channels: Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Challenges:

  • Inconsistent Marketing: The clinic's marketing efforts needed to be more cohesive, with a coherent strategy. Their previous approach led to missed opportunities and uneven client engagement.
  • Limited Online Presence: The website needed to be updated and a better user experience, leading to low engagement and conversion rates.
  • Underutilised Social Media: Despite having potential, social media channels could have been more effectively leveraged to attract new clients or retain existing ones.
  • Lack of Seasonal and Promotional Campaigns: The clinic missed opportunities to engage clients with timely promotions, resulting in low participation in seasonal offers.
  • Lack of internal time: Despite their best efforts, the internal Clinic Managers needed help to keep up with the clinic's demands and maintain the marketing activity simultaneously. 
The Brief

Our Solution

We began by drafting a 6-month marketing plan. We did this to address the inconsistencies in their current marketing strategy. This plan included a consistent style and tone, emphasising the clinic’s high-end services and ensuring that every communication aligned with the brand’s premium image. We tracked trends, analysed overall performance, and adjusted strategies in real-time.

Website Audit:

During 2020, we conducted a comprehensive website audit, identifying critical areas for improvement. The old site was overhauled, and the new website reflected the clinic's focus on skin, non-surgical, and surgical treatments. It also became more user-friendly, improving navigation and overall user experience. This revamp led to a significant increase in engagement, with more clients booking consultations directly through the site.

Social Media Influencer: 

We also wanted to enhance the digital marketing of A New You. We took over the clinic's Facebook page, introducing paid lead-generation campaigns that targeted specific demographics, leading to a marked increase in client inquiries. We partnered with an established social media influencer, Sean Lineker, whose endorsement and content creation, specifically promoting their Hydrafacials, significantly boosted the clinic's visibility, particularly on Instagram. We focused on improving the clinic’s online reputation by encouraging satisfied clients to leave positive reviews, resulting in a noticeable uplift in the clinic's ratings and trust factor.

Monthly Newsletter:

We also introduced a structured monthly newsletter that consistently highlighted new treatments, featured products of the month, and promoted specific services. This newsletter became vital in maintaining regular communication with clients, ensuring they were always informed about the latest offerings. Additionally, promotions were carefully tailored to the client database, ensuring the offers were relevant and compelling, increasing engagement and conversion rates.

Seasonal Promotions:

Seasonal promotions played a significant role in the marketing strategy. Special offers were created around key holidays, such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day gift cards, which resonated well with the clinic's clientele. We created a segment called “The Practitioners Choice of Month”, which allowed the clinic to showcase their most popular treatments on a monthly basis. These promotions were displayed outside of the clinic, within the clinic itself, on their social media channels and within their e-newsletter. Campaigns featured the “Vampire Facial” for Halloween and the “Fire and Ice Facial” for Bonfire Night, each perfectly timed to the season’s themes. This encourages clients to indulge in treatments or purchase gifts for loved ones, boosting their revenue during peak seasons.

To build trust and showcase the effectiveness of treatments, we introduced before-and-after demonstrations (while being mindful of ASA guidelines) that focused on client progressions. These demonstrations were shared widely across social media platforms and included in newsletters, driving significant engagement and sparking interest in the treatments offered. By visually demonstrating the results, the clinic could effectively communicate the value of its services, leading to increased client inquiries and bookings.

Covid Lockdown Strategy:

During the lockdown, "A New You" quickly adapted to online consultations, ensuring client care remained uninterrupted. Social media and email campaigns were strategically focused on skincare upkeep at home, offering valuable tips and promoting relevant products to help clients maintain their routines despite the restrictions. The clinic also sustained engagement through blogs, providing content on popular treatments like the Vampire Facial, which kept clients informed and connected to the brand even during challenging times.

A campaign-specific initiative that stood out was the Summer Campaign, which focused on summer skincare needs. This campaign included walk-in mole checks and offered loyalty rewards for repeat clients, attracting new clients and enhancing client retention and satisfaction. By addressing seasonal skincare concerns and rewarding loyalty, the clinic strengthened its relationship with its client base and ensured a steady business flow during the summer months.

Physical Storefront:

We enhanced the online storefront for A New You and revitalised their physical clinic to match the new luxurious branding. The previous environment felt cold and clinical, so we aimed to transform it into a space that radiates warmth and comfort. Our goal was to create an inviting and relaxing atmosphere that welcomes potential customers, making them feel at ease rather than overwhelmed. We included vital information for the clinic, including opening hours, available treatments, and social media details, along with a brighter and more welcoming design. 

In addition to refreshing the storefront, we developed a comprehensive service catalogue detailing the clinic's offerings. This catalogue was an essential resource for engaging with customers, serving as a key tool for communication and information before the website update was finalised.

Google Ads:

Google Ads were also key to increasing brand awareness for  A New You. Due to the nature of A New You, we faced stringent rules by Google that restrict the advertising of medical and health procedures. We persevered in finding the best terminology and ensured that despite the restrictive nature of Google Ads in this industry, we could still deliver positive results for the clinic that grew its brand awareness and online presence. The budget that was allocated was £1500 per month and the Ad cycle ran for 18 months. In the end, we achieved a total impression of 67,624 during this period, with an average click-through rate of 5.36%, with a 3.7% conversion rate.

The Results

  • Increased Client Engagement: The new, consistent marketing strategy led to a substantial increase in client inquiries and bookings, with the website and social media channels seeing higher traffic and engagement rates.
  • Improved Online Reputation: Google reviews improved significantly, boosting the clinic’s credibility and attracting new clients. The clinic began at Creative Pod with an average of 2.5 stars, which improved by almost double during their time with us. 
  • Successful Promotional Campaigns: Seasonal promotions and targeted marketing efforts increased client participation and revenue.
  • Sustained Growth: The strategic interventions between 2019 and 2023 positioned "A New You" as a leader in the aesthetics industry, with a growing and loyal client base.

Conclusion:

By implementing a structured and consistent marketing strategy, revamping the website, and enhancing digital engagement, "A New You" transformed its marketing approach, leading to sustained growth and success in a competitive market. The clinic’s commitment to high-end services, targeted promotions, and improved client communication has solidified its reputation as a premier destination for aesthetic treatments.
