We’ve had the privilege of working closely with The Salvation Army on several key fundraising campaigns over the years, including their iconic “Be a STAR” Christmas campaign, as well as ongoing projects to refresh and rebrand their fundraising materials. As one of our long-standing clients, they’ve continued to rely on us for our expertise in creating visually engaging, cohesive designs that elevate their initiatives.

With multiple campaigns and events happening year-round, such as the London Marathon and the "30 Tallest Buildings Challenge", The Salvation Army needed a modern, consistent approach to their branding. Their existing materials were becoming dated and lacked the impact needed to capture attention and drive engagement. Our Solutions

We proposed a comprehensive design strategy that included a complete rebrand of The Salvation Army’s fundraising materials and the creation of new, eye-catching collateral. From logos and posters to collection boxes and event banners, we worked to create a fresh, consistent look that could be applied across all of their campaigns and fundraising events.

“Be a STAR” Christmas Campaign

Our work on the “Be a STAR” Christmas campaign focused on bold, festive designs that captured attention and encouraged participation. Using vibrant holiday colours and clear, compelling messaging, we ensured the campaign stood out in a crowded festive period, with materials such as posters, collection buckets, stickers, and social media graphics all following a consistent, eye-catching theme.

Rebrand of Fundraising Collateral

As part of the broader rebrand, we developed a new visual identity for all their fundraising materials. From the “Go Team Sally Army” logo to event posters, banners, certificates, and fundraising packs, we created a modern, uniform style that supporters could instantly recognise. The new fundraising packs included everything from information booklets to collection boxes, making it easier for participants to get involved. For large-scale events like the London Marathon, we designed impactful, easy-to-read materials that clearly communicated key details and encouraged engagement.

For the "30 Tallest Buildings Challenge," we designed adaptable posters and banners to be used in a variety of settings, ensuring the campaign was visually striking and easy to understand. By keeping the messaging clear and direct, we helped maximise participation and visibility for the event.
