The Russell Martin Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in Brighton & Hove. They work hard to positively impact the lives of children and young people, through Football, Health and Education. After being referred by a mutual contact at Abcom IT solutions, we started working with the Russell Martin Foundation (RMF) on a brand-new website.
RMF had outgrown their previous WordPress website and were having issues with the security of their existing site. They had found WordPress difficult to update and needed a better content management system that they could easily access the back end of and make amends themselves.
From the initial briefing with RMF, it was clear that they were spending too much of their time fielding calls from parents, who were finding it difficult to find the information they needed from the site and to book their child onto a course often resulted in several phone calls or emails before booking.
Our initial research noticed the majority of traffic on the website was from mobile, we knew straight away we had to design a responsive site that would be affective and of course look great! We were able to look at the user journeys from a fresh perspective, allowing us to restructure the site and make sure the user knew where to go. We made the site live in July and the results so far have been great, traffic is up on the previous site and parents are making bookings online – the RMF team have also found Webflow very easy to use, update and add content/articles too.
We continue to work with RMF offering support to ensure their website is secure, up to date and most importantly, looking great!

“Working with Creative Pod on the design of our new website has been a brilliant experience. The team have been so supportive throughout and weren’t afraid to push back on us when they felt something wasn’t right. We are thrilled with the results!”
