Brand Collaborations That Have Been on Point This week!

From Delicious Brands, Iconic Paint and Make-Up, to a Gold Olympian and Coconut Delight can you guess what brand collaborations we are talking about? I’m sure you have seen them all over social media, but brand collaborations have been on point this week and we love them! These are our favourite; 

Coca-Cola and Oreo’s

Now, usually people pair Coca-Cola with the traditional flavours of lime and lemon, but they’ve gone a bit left field recently, by collaborating with the iconic and delicious Oreo cookie. 

Don’t get too excited as this limited-time offering is only available in the US, but this fantastic collaboration means that Coca-Cola will release its Zero Sugar drink, which contains the original flavours, but it will be combined with hints of Oreo Cookies. On the reverse, Oreo will release a cookie that is half it’s classic flavour, and half that contains the Coca-Cola syrup that we all know and love. The white-coloured creme, sandwiched between will take us back to our childhood with popping candies that introduce the feeling of ‘fizz’. 

Lick and MAC Cosmetics

We all know Lick for its designer home interiors, offering paint and wallpaper and we all know MAC Cosmetics for its beauty and make-up products, but together, we’ve never known them to go hand-in-hand. For Lick’s 40th anniversary, they have collaborated with MAC by introducing a limited-edition, MAC Black 40 paint in 2.5L and it makes perfect sense! 

Both brands have always been well-known for offering high-end quality products, and MAC Black 40 empowers elegance, dominance and it’s a colour that suits all. 

It is the perfect styling for anyone who confidently wears MAC Cosmetics products, and enjoys sophisticated black decor in their homes. 

‘Don’t Drink and Dive’ - Tom Daley and Malibu Drinks

Some of us are still celebrating Tom Daley’s last Olympic’s Silver at the Paris Olympics 2024, while others are enjoying their holidays with Malibu drinks. Now that Daley has hung up his diving shorts for competitive diving, he is still rocking them for Malibu’s latest marketing campaign which highlights the importance of ‘Don’t Drink and Dive’. 

You’ll notice as well, that we get to see Daley’s other passion, as he brings to life his knitted diving shorts, with the campaign’s slogan knitted on the back. 

This collaboration is genius! What better way to highlight an important message about drinking and diving safety, then no other by using an iconic figure, who we all love and adore in Great Britain. 

These are just a few of the fantastic brand collaborations we have seen implemented this week and we love how different each of these are to one another. It just shows that you don’t have to partner with another brand that is similar to you. There is always a connection that we as marketers can hook onto.
