Bridgeham is an award-winning multi-disciplinary private healthcare clinic offering osteopathy, physiotherapy, Pilates, Garuda and wellbeing services in Manor Royal, Gatwick. They approached us for a website redesign, as their existing site had become difficult to update and was no longer mobile friendly for the latest devices.

After our initial meeting with Bridgeham, our first step was to investigate the existing site, as it was a comprehensive WordPress build and it was essential that all the SEO work that had previously been done was retained. We ran an initial report which identified key pages to be kept and pages we could remove. The report also allowed us to set up 301 redirects to ensure traffic was going to the correct pages from older links/slugs, meaning there was no drop in traffic from the old pages to the 404 pages.

From our research and meetings with Bridgeham, it was apparent they had some great services and products on offer, which weren’t being promoted on their existing site. They were often buried down the bottom of the pages and needed to be presented in a clear and visual way. We set about designing the new site with a clear vision of what was needed, how it should appear and also bring the key information customers wanted to the forefront of the site.

The biggest challenge for our team was to integrate a 3rd party booking system called MindBody, which Bridgeham has been using for several years to allow customers to make appointments or book classes. After seeking expert advice from a freelance developer we were able to integrate the service and even style the elements in keeping with the new design.

Once we overcame the biggest hurdle of the project (the 3rd party aspect, mentioned above) the site started to take shape; with a new approach to typography, web styles and layout. We wanted to make sure the new website looked great and was very accessible on handheld devices. We noticed the majority of the site traffic was either from mobile or tablet users. So, it seemed logical that returning customers needed quick access to booking information, pricing and class schedules. Whereas new customers were looking for services, treatments and information about the clinic, before making a decision about using Bridgeham for their health needs.

So, here’s the final result 👉 www.bridgehamclinic.com

The new design brings key messages to the forefront of the site, thereby encouraging new users to discover the Bridgeham Clinic and how they approach healthcare. We also wanted the users to see the benefits of visiting Bridgeham (and therefore helping to increase footfall to the clinic), so it was, therefore, beneficial to introduce calls to actions, which promoted key services and benefits. Bridgeham had asked us to create a website that was easy to manage, add items to and update content regularly. Using Webflow CMS we are able to create dynamic content that the clients are able to manage easily. Webflow also allows them to update the static pages of the site via frontend previews – saving them time as well as making the overall process much simpler.

The new website went live on 1st January 2020 and saw a high volume of new users in the first week, we have also seen a positive impact from the initial SEO work we had done before going live. This has retained the client’s strong presence on local search. It really has been a seamless move from WordPress to Webflow, with a very happy client!

“We are thrilled with the results of our new website, Creative Pod listened to us and understood our needs, they have built us a website that truly reflects the business and its unique offerings. The feedback we have received on the new website has been amazing, it has given us a great platform to grow the business from.

We’d like to give special thanks to Liam who was our key contact during the process. He paid such great attention to detail with his accurate listening skills, meaning nothing was missed and he was completely solution-focused. We are grateful for all his additional research, calm and patient approach to transforming our ideas and vision into reality. He did for our website what we do for our patients, he took us from broken to brilliant and beyond!”
